Twin Falls is the ninth of Lullalotl’s ten ponds, the last stop before Moon Mirror. It is also the only pond with a waterfall, and the waterfall has a voice of its own. When the pond opens, Glim, the old firefly granny who keeps the Glow jar, puts it simply: “The waterfall sings by itself. Join in!”
Here is how to make the most of it, and how to earn all three stars.
A drop every three and a half seconds
The waterfall pours in at the top of the pond, right in the middle. Every three and a half seconds it drops water by itself, and each drop sends out a ring that reaches 1.3 times as far as a normal ripple. Any friend the ring touches wakes up, sings and sends out a ripple of its own, so one good drop can set off a whole chain while you just watch.

So the top of the pond is the best seat in the house. Drag a friend close to the splash, line the rest up behind it, and each drop can wake them one after another.
Your own plip still pays double
The waterfall counts as rain, and that matters. In Lullalotl your own waves pay double: every tap, every Big Swish and every Grand Chorus. Rain and the waterfall don’t. So the falls are a steady trickle of Glow, but Lulla’s tail is still the best earner in the pond.
Chains matter too: each new link adds another 25 percent to what a friend pays, so a long chain is worth starting yourself.

Cross your ripples with the falls
The falls also give you a free second ripple to play with. From pond 2 on, when the rings of two different waves meet on open water, a lotus opens where they touch. In the game’s own words: “Two ripples meet → a lotus opens. It sings too!” One of the two rings has to be yours, so two waterfall rings won’t do it. Tap near the top just after a drop, and your ring runs straight into the waterfall’s.
A lotus stays open for eight seconds and sings like a friend when a ring reaches it, adding links to your chain. Up to six can float at once. Every level of the Lotus garden in the shop adds one more lotus and one more second.
Tik & Tok turn the wave
The twins are already waiting on their lily pad in the middle of the pond when you arrive, a pair of duckling-and-mouse babies who share one pad. Their description says it best: “Twins who do everything together: two half-ripples, left and right, turn the wave.”
When a ripple reaches them, they send two arcs instead of a ring, one to each side of the incoming wave, each reaching half again as far as a normal ripple.

So a wave from the waterfall splits at the twins and runs out to both sides of the pond. Put friends there: straight past the twins, the arcs don’t reach at all.
Who joins you here
New friends hatch from a lotus bud you buy with Glow, and the pond has room for ten. In Twin Falls the newcomers arrive in this order: Bloop, Prism, Dozy and Puff. Each time, you also get the choice of a friend you already know instead.
Bloop has a big voice, and its ripples reach much further. Prism sends a rainbow ripple, and everyone it touches sings triple. Dozy is sleepy, and after five ripples it yawns a giant wave. Puff is half chick, half dandelion: “Ah-choo! Three seeds fly off and start three new ripples.”

Three stars
The first star is for waking the Moon. The second is for a chain of eight friends from a single drop. The third, “Perfect harmony with a full pond,” is the tricky one: every friend in the pond, at least nine of them, has to sing from one drop. A Grand Chorus, the giant swish waiting for you when you come back after a break, is always a Perfect harmony, but it doesn’t earn this star.
Here is the secret: the waterfall’s drops count for both stars. Line your friends up well enough, and the falls can earn them for you between your own taps. Every Perfect harmony also pays three times as much.
While you’re away
The falls keep going when you close the game. Twin Falls is the only pond where the Welcome back screen splits your rain earnings into two lines, one for Drizzle, the rain, and one for Twin Falls itself, depending on how much of it the waterfall really sang.
And when the Moon finally wakes over Twin Falls, the twins get the last word. Tik: “Left!” Tok: “Right!” Both: “Together!” Then Glim points the way: “One more pond. The very top.”
