The story

A road machine wants to pave the whole world into one big parking lot. Climb into an old seeding helicopter, break its machines and let the meadows grow back.

One morning the meadow by the ranger station is a parking lot. Overnight. The Paver, a road machine built to patch one pothole and then told to “connect everything”, has decided to pave the whole world into the biggest parking lot there ever was.

The rangers have one thing it didn’t plan for: Thistle, Old Hatch’s retired seeding helicopter. It used to sow meadows from the air, and now it carries a cannon. Wren Ashby flies it, Tilly calls the targets over the radio, and Old Hatch grumbles in his shed and bolts on whatever your Scrap can buy.

Every machine you break leaves a crater, and the craters bloom. Chapter 1, Greenfold Meadows, ends with the Big Dig, a giant excavator, and five more corners of the wild are waiting behind it.
